Black Powder matches will start on January 22nd and continue every fourth Sunday. Match starts at 08:30 on the Bullseye Range
Due to the closure of the Bullseye range, our monthly black powder matches are temporarily cancelled. Our next match was to be held on Sunday, October 25. Dan is currently trying to find us another place to shoot and as soon as something can be worked out, we hope to resume our matches soon.

Come join the Wyoming Antelope Club Black Powder Shooters this coming weekend for our annual Spring “Fun Shoot”. Once a year we ditch our usual bullseye targets and shoot a variety of fun targets that are both entertaining and challenging. Splitting playing cards, shooting at dangling wine corks and plastic water bottles full of red Kool-Aid are among the events. These targets tend to reward the lucky as well as the expert so everyone has a good time participating.
If you are a new shooter or experienced with muzzleloaders you are welcome to join us. Even if you have never shot black powder before come and watch the action and we will be glad to help you get addicted to this exciting shooting discipline. We welcome all levels of shooters at our events, beginners are welcome and it is a great place to get solid advice about black powder cleaning, maintenance and most important, safety from experiences shooters who will be more than happy to help you out.
We start at 8:30 at the Tadder Bullseye range this Sunday, April 26. Come join us!!

The black powder shooters recently held their monthly shoot at the Bullseye range. Since it is still muzzleloader season, many regular shooters were out of town on hunting trips which resulted in fewer shooters than normal. Since we always have a relaxed, fun shoot with no time limits it made for fun shooting with some decent scores posted. Recently we have had 2 new shooters join us, Pat Rogers and Joe Chrin and both seemed to enjoy the shooting and the assistance rendered by more experienced shooters. Please feel free to join us on the the 4th Sunday of the Month, which this December will be on the 28th. Even if you have limited or no experience with black powder shooting, you will find our event and enjoyable way to participate in this sometimes challenging discipline. We have some fun events planned for the future, such as our springtime “rendezvous” which has lots of fun targets and prizes so come join the fun.

We held our monthly match on 9/28/2014 and despite the recent heavy rains that resulted in high humidity making the shooting a little uncomfortable, muddy and may have limited turnout, another great shoot was held. This month’s match was won by Bill Forshay with a score of 230 out of 250, followed by Dave Crede at 200 and Rick Crede at 184.
Come join the Wyoming Antelope Club black powder shooters for fun, competition and a chance to learn more about this entertaining and challenging discipline. We meet the 4th at 8:30 AM on the Bullseye Range. We have a 30 minute session prior to the start of our matches to practice, adjust sights and generally “warm-up”. This is a relaxed, informal match, with emphasis on safe shooting with plenty of good competition. We welcome new shooters, or even those who don’t have a black powder rifle but are interesting in learning about this type of shooting. There are no time limits so if you need a little help, there are always plenty of experienced shooters willing and able to help you out with any problems. Many shooters have an old CVA, Thompson Center or similar rifle that they may have played with at one time but now sits unused on the rack. Well, dust her off, (the gun that is) and bring her out to join us for a good time. We fire at a variety of targets every month, from double bullseye buffalos to the ever challenging inverted “V” which will test your confidence in your shooting.
